I've just completed another novel.

This one, totally different from the rest of the novels i've read, left a very deep impression on me.
In fact, I had tears hanging in my tears throughout the whole process while i was reading. I'm not sure why my emotions were so triggered by this book but, well, its a good read=]

It's about a girl who's both parents just died in a car crash lately and had to live with her elder sister.

I dunno, but after reading this story, i felt that everything around me suddenly became as precious as never before. AS for the silly things that usually bothered me a lot, they now seemed to me like peanuts. (lol. i love using peanuts as examples)
Life, which i always take for granted for, became something that is very treasured.

One quote from the book: " WHat could be worst? At least you are not dead."

When you are alive, you still have something called chances. YOu have chances to earn back the money you lost. You still have chance to say sorry to the ones you've hurt. YOu still have chance to love the ones who loved. And you have the chance to improve yourself and your life.

But once you lost life, you lost everything. All the small things that revolves around your life doesnt matter much anymore. ALl those things that seemed so important to you wouldnt be anymore.

okok... this sounds too serious, eh?

but really, after reading this book, i felt more grown up. More used to life and its harsh realities. I felt so pampered, sheltered from all the things in life. THis house, this family and everything. ALl the things i have, i've always taken them for grante, mostly. But well, we all do, at least at some point of times..

Oh well, but life is not about all this depressing stuff. Once you get over with this, life is really enjoyable i guess=)) Esp with love.

ah, now jc life seemed not so haunting and scary liaoz. what could be worst?
i think this story will keep reminding me that nothing could be worse than being dead.

p.s. i love to read. SHould go back to kidsread someday again.
